How do I make a claim?

If you are a TitlePLUS policyholder and wish to file a claim under your policy, please send a TitlePLUS Proof of Loss form ( PDF file, size: 93KB) to the attention of Hilda Crasto, New Claims Co-ordinator, TitlePLUS at LAWPRO. A staff member from the Claims Department will be in touch to obtain any additional information needed to assess the claim. Depending on the issue, information may be required from the policyholder and/or the lawyer who acted for the policyholder when TitlePLUS coverage was obtained.

Please review the section of your policy headed "If you have a Claim" for additional information. In particular, the policy requires that the insured (that is, the purchaser or lender under the TitlePLUS policy) notify us in writing of a claim as soon as reasonably possible after becoming aware of an issue.¹
