Leasehold Program

With leasehold residential developments gaining popularity in Ontario, lawyers need a fast, convenient way to set up title insurance for their clients. TitlePLUS meets that need with a "dial-in" option to insure residential leasehold titles. These can include anything from leasehold interests in residential communities, mortgages of leasehold titles and leasehold title assignments. TitlePLUS will provide a leasehold endorsement to give that special coverage needed for these titles. Our Underwriting Group will provide lawyers with full support for what can be challenging transactions.

The premium (exclusive of processing fees and taxes) is $315.00 for a transaction price of up to $500,000. The premium increases by $1.00 per thousand over $500,000.
